Our Foundation students recently took to the stage for a joyful morning filled with music, rhythm, storytelling, and performance during this year’s Foundation End of Year Concert 2026.

Families, teachers, and friends gathered together to celebrate the students’ learning, creativity, and hard work throughout the term as they proudly presented Foundation in Rhythm followed by their musical production, Croak! — A Ribbiting Musical.
Foundation in Rhythm
The concert began with a lively musical showcase. Throughout the term, students have been exploring rhythm, tempo, listening skills, movement, and coordinated group performances through music classes.

Each class confidently took to the stage and shared their musical talents with the audience:
Koalas — Stars
Wallabies — Steel Drum Band
Potoroos — Cheeky Fingers
Dingoes — Tubby Sub
Blue Wrens — The Lion Sleeps Tonight

Students demonstrated wonderful teamwork, confidence, focus, and enthusiasm as they performed together and showcased the skills they have been developing throughout the year.

The audience was then taken deep into the swamp for Croak!, a fun and heartwarming musical adventure following Speedy the tadpole on a journey of growth, friendship, confidence, and belonging.

Through singing, dancing, acting, and movement, our Foundation students brought the story to life beautifully while filling the theatre with laughter, energy, and joy.

The performance featured wonderful class presentations throughout the musical:
Foundation Syndicate — Come and Sing
Blue Wrens — Summer Garden
Koalas — Croak!
Foundation Syndicate — The Swamp Stomp
Wallabies — Hide Away
Dingoes — We Can All Do Something
Potoroos — Just a Little Tadpole

Every performance highlighted the students’ growing confidence, creativity, collaboration, and willingness to support one another. It was wonderful to see each child proudly take part and shine on stage as they shared their enthusiasm, courage, and joy with our school community.
Thank you to our families and friends for celebrating this special occasion with us.
