Desirable Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 Years teaching experience.

  • Knowledge of the International Cambridge Curriculum preferable but not essential

Specialist Classroom Music Teacher (Vacancy Reference 202608-PS-MT)

​

The Australian International School Bangkok requires a full-time Music Teacher for classroom music lessons, choir, and performances, working alongside the other 3 full-time Music teachers.

​

The duties required of this position are as follows:

  • Full-time music teacher for classes on AISB campuses where required.

  • In conjunction with the Primary to Year 7 Music Teacher, prepare lesson plans for each year’s class in advance and submit them to the Head of Campus or delegate before each term starts.

  • Provide assessments and reports of students in music classes on time for each term to the Head of Campus.

  • To promote and jointly deliver After School Activities for private and Choir classes each term, as well as during Summer School.

  • To help promote Choir, Singing, and Performing Arts programs at AISB. Specifically, to help lead Junior, Senior Primary and Secondary choirs and to assist with voice training for Secondary students.

    • Piano accompaniment skill is preferred but not mandatory.

  • To work with the Performance Committee on school productions, performances and recitals for special events, periodically in assemblies and external events.

  • In consultation with the Head of Primary and other Music and Performing Arts teachers, develop promotion campaigns for Music and Performing Arts during the school year, and plan campaigns for coming up school years.

  • Contribute to the marketing and promotion of school music, choir classes, and musical events through Facebook, the school website, and Instagram by providing relevant lessons, video clips, and photos with captions to be sent to the Head of Primary.

Physical Education(PE) Teaching Assistant

The Australian International School Bangkok, Campus Sukhumvit 31, is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Physical Education Teaching Assistant to support our Primary School PE programme.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the PE teachers in planning and delivering engaging PE lessons.

  • Support students in developing physical skills, teamwork, and positive sporting behaviours.

  • Support the Sport Centre admin to prepare, organise, and maintain sports equipment and learning materials.

  • Ensure a safe and positive learning environment during PE lessons, Sports After School Activities, Sports activities, and school events.

  • Supervise students during PE classes and other assigned activities.

  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote students’ wellbeing and active participation.

  • Be willing to support school sports squads, competitions, and sporting events held on weekends, as required. 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or closely related field.

  • Experience working with primary-aged children is preferred.

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Strong organisation and communication skills.

  • Fluent in English; a TOEIC score of at least 750 is required.

  • Applicants who are currently residing in Thailand will be given preference.

 

Working Conditions

  • Monday to Friday, 07:15 - 15:15

School Nurse (Vacancy Code: 202607-PS-Nurse)

 

The Australian International School Bangkok, Sukhumvit 31 Campus, is seeking an experienced and caring School Nurse to join our Primary team.

 

The Role​

The successful applicant will provide nursing care and health support primarily for primary students, helping to ensure their health, safety, and wellbeing throughout the school day. The role also includes a range of administrative duties to support.

 

Key responsibilities include:​

  • Provide first aid and emergency treatment for students who become ill or are injured during the school day, and communicate with parents as appropriate.

  • Implement and maintain the school’s health policies and protocols.

  • Maintain accurate student medical records, including allergies, medical conditions, and individual healthcare plans.

  • Advise teaching and support staff regarding students with specific medical needs.

  • Monitor and maintain first aid kits and medical supplies throughout the campus.

  • Promote and supervise good hygiene practices across the school.

  • Support and educate students in developing good personal hygiene habits.

  • Assist with health-related administration, including maintaining medical records, preparing documentation, organising health information, and supporting the day-to-day administration of the school clinic.

  • Hold current registration as a qualified nurse.

 

Additional Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Have training and experience in the area of child and public health
