Essential Requirements

  • Must be registered, or licensed, or eligible for registration as a teacher in either; Australia,South Africa, New Zealand, the UK, USA or Canada only.

  • Must be a native English speaker

  • Demonstrated experience in providing excellent teaching of Secondary students in the subject and at the level required.

Desirable Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 Years teaching experience.

  • Knowledge of the International Cambridge Curriculum preferable but not essential

  • Experience in teaching students from different backgrounds, with varying aptitudes and interests.​​​​​​

Specialist Classroom Music Teacher (Vacancy Reference 202608-PS-MT)

​

The Australian International School Bangkok requires a full-time Music Teacher for classroom music lessons, choir, and performances, working alongside the other 3 full-time Music teachers.

​

The duties required of this position are as follows:

  • Full-time music teacher for classes on AISB campuses where required.

  • In conjunction with the Primary to Year 7 Music Teacher, prepare lesson plans for each year’s class in advance and submit them to the Head of Campus or delegate before each term starts.

  • Provide assessments and reports of students in music classes on time for each term to the Head of Campus.

  • To promote and jointly deliver After School Activities for private and Choir classes each term, as well as during Summer School.

  • To help promote Choir, Singing, and Performing Arts programs at AISB. Specifically, to help lead Junior, Senior Primary and Secondary choirs and to assist with voice training for Secondary students.

    • Piano accompaniment skill is preferred but not mandatory.

  • To work with the Performance Committee on school productions, performances and recitals for special events, periodically in assemblies and external events.

  • In consultation with the Head of Primary and other Music and Performing Arts teachers, develop promotion campaigns for Music and Performing Arts during the school year, and plan campaigns for coming up school years.

  • Contribute to the marketing and promotion of school music, choir classes, and musical events through Facebook, the school website, and Instagram by providing relevant lessons, video clips, and photos with captions to be sent to the Head of Primary.

Thai Teacher (Thai Language, Thai Culture & Thai History)

​​

The Australian International School Bangkok, Sukhumvit 31 Campus, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Thai teacher to join our team for the 2026/27 academic year. This position involves teaching Thai language, Thai culture, and Thai history to both Thai and international students in a diverse, multicultural learning environment.

​

The successful candidate will:

​

  • Teach Thai language, Thai culture, and Thai history to Thai and international students using age-appropriate and engaging teaching strategies in accordance with the school's curriculum and educational standards.

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons while maintaining lesson plans, assessment records, and other required teaching documentation.

  • Participate in lesson observations, peer observations, and the professional feedback process.

  • Undertake daily supervisory duties as part of the school's pastoral care programme.

  • Organise and lead key annual Thai cultural celebrations, including Loy Krathong, National Father's Day, Songkran, and Wai Khru.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute creative ideas.

  • Participate actively in school events, both on and off campus.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional learning and development.

Qualifications and Experience:

​

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education with a major in Thai language, or a related field.

  • A valid Thai Teaching License.

  • Good English communication skills, both spoken and written.

  • Strong classroom management skills.

  • The ability to create engaging teaching resources, including both digital and hands-on learning materials.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a positive, collaborative attitude.

  • Experience working in an international school or multicultural environment will be highly regarded.

  • New graduates who are passionate about teaching and eager to develop professionally are encouraged to apply.
