Foundation and Year 1 Art Show ๐ŸŽจ

We are thrilled to share the success of our Foundation and Year 1 Art Show, where our talented students' incredible artwork was showcased. ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽจ

The Art Show, held in our Art Room on May 11th and 12th, provided parents with the opportunity to view the exhibits during designated times: 7.15-8.30am and 1.30-3.30pm. It was a wonderful occasion for families to appreciate the artistic journey of our students throughout the year.

The exhibits displayed a diverse range of themes and disciplines, aligning with the Australian Early Years Learning Framework and the Australian Curriculum.

๐Ÿ  Aquarium Diorama - Painting and Drawing Study

Year 1:

๐Ÿฆ Lion Lines - Elements of Art Study

๐ŸŒด Amazon Rainforest - Brazil Study for International Week

โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒ™ Sun and Moon Papier Mache - Sculpture Study

From vibrant Rainbow Serpent pattern studies to captivating Aquarium Dioramas, our Foundation students amazed everyone with their creativity.

Year 1 students explored Elements of Art through their Lion Lines artwork and delved into a Brazil Study for International Week with their Amazon Rainforest pieces. Additionally, they crafted remarkable Sun and Moon Papier Mache sculptures as part of their Sculpture Study.

To enhance the overall experience, we introduced an educational QR Code Scavenger Hunt. This interactive activity allowed students to find QR codes strategically placed around the exhibits, scan them using a device, and answer thought-provoking questions related to the artworks. The answers were conveniently provided beneath the questions, enabling a fun and engaging learning experience.

We extend a heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Jess for her exceptional artistic skills and organizational prowess in bringing this event to life. Her unwavering commitment to nurturing creativity in our students is truly commendable. ๐Ÿ‘

To all our families, we sincerely thank you for taking the time to visit and support our mini art exhibit. We hope you thoroughly enjoyed exploring the artistic talents of our students as much as we did. We look forward to welcoming you again next school year! ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆโœจ
