We are pleased to announce to the school community of AISB that our school has been admitted as a member of the Council of International Schools [CIS]. The membership of CIS comes after 18 months of work by the School Board and the Senior Executive Leadership group of our school, including two rigorous inspection visits by a CIS Counsellor, in the process of application for membership.
Membership of CIS recognises the standards, values and qualities that our school is able to present in all aspects of school operations including our core business of teaching and learning, against the high international standards of membership required by CIS.
I wish to thank all involved in the demanding and intensive work in preparing for this application and especially for the strong contributions made during last school year's prolonged period of remote learning.
Congratulations are well and truly deserved by all of our school community.
