Recycle Park on Waste Land by Pimmada, Year 8

Updated: May 20, 2022

A huge congratulations to Pimmada (Year 8 Eungella) who submitted her art project to the ASA Experimental Design Competition 2022 and was awarded 3rd place.

The ASA Experimental Design Competition 2022 opened to the general public and students to create experimental architectural designs focused on the functional and practical use of space in Thailand based on the concept of “CO-EXIST WITH CO-AREA.”

The competition was organized by the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage (ASA) in collaboration with TTF International Co., Ltd.

Check out her amazing art project below;

Project name: Recycle Park on Waste Land

'For most people , waste land would probably be the last place on earth they want to live, but if we make use of this unwanted area and turn it to something useful. This is why we are thinking to turn the waste land into a co-existing space, that is a “recycle park”. From a dirty forgotten place that no one cares, we can turn this area into a nice park and bring the people together. Waste water from the waste land will be recycled and use to water plant in the park. Plastic or un recycled materials can be used to create sculptural arts. I believe that a place that is most useless can become useful in this co-existing idea.' - Pimmada
