TAKING SCHOOL TRANSPORT

Before Boarding From Home:

  • All students boarding vans/buses from home must show a photo of the ATK test strip to the bus monitor and  affirm that they have submitted it to school through the Year Level Screening link every Monday and  Thursday morning before being allowed to board the van/bus from home/pick up point. 

  • All students boarding vans/buses from home must affirm to the bus monitor every morning before being  allowed to board the bus that they have a Low Risk or below TST assessment. 

  • A hand held thermo scanner will be used by van/bus staff to check children before boarding. 

Safety Protocol:

  • Students will sanitize their hands before boarding the van/bus.

  • Students will be seated, socially distanced in the bus according to a written seating chart. This will assist to  limit contact and allow for contact tracing. 

  • Soft gloves will be worn by all staff taking temperatures and assisting students; nannies on doors, cleaning  duty, gate staff, and drivers for assisting children from vans/busses and onto vans/busses. 

  • The van/bus will be sanitised before and after each journey. 

  • Drivers and van/bus staff will wear masks at all times.

Vans & busses to transport between Soi 31 and the Innovation Centre:

  • Students will sanitize their hands before boarding the van/bus.  

  • Students will be seated, socially distanced in the bus according to a written seating chart. This will assist to  limit contact and allow for contact tracing. 

  • Drivers and van/bus staff will wear masks at all times

 


 

Parents Access On-Site

  • Parents will be allowed on-site by email appointment. 

  • Parents are required to submit a negative ATK result and TST assessment (Low Risk or below). This is to be sent from home so the parent’s scan card can be activated or on Soi 20, permission given to enter. 

  • Parents are required to have their temperature taken and it must be below 37.5 degrees celsius to be given  entry. 

  • Parents can visit the uniform shop and make a purchase on a Saturday morning from 9am to 12 noon. No  ATK is required however an appointment, temperature check, hands sanitised and mask is required.

  • As the uniform shop is open from Monday to Friday from 08.30 am to 4.00pm, parents may make an  appointment but are required to submit a negative ATK result and declare a Low Risk and below TST  assessment. 

  • Meetings with teachers: Parents are required to make an appointment to visit the class teacher on-site. This can be booked via the teacher’s email. A negative ATK result and a Low Risk and below TST assessment is  required before entry to the school. Zoom meetings are encouraged instead of on-site meetings.

Drop Off & Pick Up Procedures

Soi 20:

Drop Off:

Drop off at double gates with children met by the class TA who will take students directly to their class.

 

  • Foundation/Year 1: 7.30am 

  • Nursery: 8:00am 

  • Kindergarten: 8:00am

Pick Up:

Students will be taken to the gate in socially distanced lines and be signed out to parents. Parents wait in the tent area

  • Nursery 1: 12noon 

  • Nursery 2: 12:10 

  • Kindergarten: 13:00 

  • Foundation: 13:50 

  • Year 1: 14:00 

Soi 31 (Primary): 

 

Drop Off: 

The entrance gate (turnstyle) opens at 7:15am. 

  • All Yr. 3,4,5,6 students scan in through the turn styles. 

  • All Yr. 1,2,3 students scan in via Clarendon. 

  • Yr.1,2,3 TAs will be at the gate to escort students to their room. 

  • All Yr. 4,5,6 students go directly to their room.

Pick Up:

  • Yr.1-3: Teachers / TAs will escort their students to the Clarendon Foyer  

  • Yr.4-5: Teachers / TAs will escort their students to the Brickendon Foyer 

  • Yr.6: Teachers / TAs will escort their students to the Entally Library  

  • NB: Montri students leave class 10 mins early 

  • Arriving parents will enter through Gate 1 and wait under cover near the Clarendon entrance. 

  • There will be TAs at a table who will sign out students when parents arrive.  

  • A TA at the table will radio to have the student brought to the parent.  

  • The parent and student will exit through Gate 1  

  • Please note that students who have their last lesson at the Innovation Centre will be bussed back to Soi 31 for  parent pickup. 

  • Students who are not picked up by 14:20 will be escorted to the Clarendon Foyer for pick up.

Soi 31 (Secondary):

Drop Off:

  • Drop off at Innovation Centre – students go directly to their class. 

  • Students will enter via the Innovation Centre Gate from 7.15am using their scan card. 

  • Secondary students will be required to also scan into the Secondary School Campus at the next entry gate.

Pick Up:

  • Secondary students will either be taken to school transport to board from the Innovation Centre

OR

  • Will be picked up by parents/leave alone from the Innovation Centre entrance gate.  

  • We will manage the exit from the Secondary school to the Innovation Centre gate by Year levels to limit  interaction of students. Yr. 7 first, then Yr. 8, then Yr. 9, then Yrs.10,11,12 to allow classes to distance
